请教各位老师，人教版义务教育教科书英语初三 unit 11中，2d, role-play theconversation 里面Nancy有一句：
It made Aliceunhappy because she thinks Julie is now better friends with me than with her.（见82页倒数第五行）
这句话中为何是better friends，而不是 the better friend呢，由于宾语从句的主语是Julie，是第三人称单数呢。谢谢老师指教！
be [keep, make] friends with ... 的意思是“与......为友[维持友好，成为朋友]”，不管主语是单数还是复数，都要用 friends 不可以用 friend。
